Duck is an encased awning with a modern and innovating design, winner of the 2017 Reddot Award.

The Duck awning is endowed with a round and compact case made of extruded aluminium. In fact, this case has a precise and important task: it protects the canvas so as to ensure a longer lifespan and a lower exposure to elements.

Being a perfect synthesis of functionality and design, Duck can adapt in a harmonious way to any private or commercial environment.

This is why it was included in 2017 in the ADI Design Index, the permanent selection of the best Italian design and won the Reddot Award, an international design award. The awning with arms is as versatile as any other Gibus product and is available for purchasing in its wall mounting or ceiling mounting version.

It can be set off by means of a Somfy IO remote control and also further endowed with specific automations, such as wind or sun sensors, which are able to automatically activate the functioning of the awning.
